Health & Educational Programs

With the support of our donors, we will be working with other organizations to do the following.

Our Programs

We will be expanding our HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS to include distribution of education materials including books computers and ipads to assist students during the current Covid 19 pandemic. We also include other programs including:

  • Offers a multifaceted approach to help families and youth identify and deal with mental illness, substance abuse, bullying, suicide as well as gun violence in schools.
  • Offers abstinence-based, comprehensive sexuality training and life skills programs including money management through a broad range of media channels, workshops, seminars, exhibits, expos and E-books.
  • Seeks to educate and empower youth to master six key areas of their daily lives: Real self/Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, Occupational/Financial, Relationship and Time management.
  • Aims to enlist parents, teachers and those who care about youth to assist in the prevention and treatment of mental illness, substance abuse, STDs and unintended pregnancies.
  • Provides educational tools; Dr. Braithwaite outlines 55 Strategies for this in his book Teen Spirit which was written specifically to help youth achieve a successful R.E.P.O.R.T. card of life by providing them with the tools to navigate more effectively in these six key life areas.

Braithwaite Foundation, formerly called Reach for Stars Foundation, was founded in north Miami beach, 2002, has been serving the community of North Miami Beach for over 20 years.
